Greetings from the Chairperson

Welcome to the newly relaunched website! We are pleased with this outreach and welcome your comments. Most of us are tyros at this and hope to improve with experience. In the liturgical year we are about 2/3 of the way through Lent and finalising plans and preparations for Easter. I look forward to hearing any thoughts you may care to share. The peace of Christ be with you all. Dave

Results of Remit #3

More than two-thirds of all presbyteries gave their approval to the remit. (Of 85 presbyteries, 60 voted in favour and 16 voted against. Results were not received from the remaining 9 presbyteries.) The Sub-Executive, therefore, declared that the remit has passed.

The policy change will come into effect on July 1, 2010, which was the date fixed by the 40th General Council (2009).
